The positives about South Central is that it’s not as bad as it was about 40 years ago.There’s no more rioting and some of us are getting along.South Central to me is a good place to stay in my neighborhood. The negatives about South Central is that people still so-call gangbang,they still do drugs,and most people are’nt getting along not even people who are the same color and that’s a S H A M E. The three events that have had the greatest impact are Crack Epidemic, Gang History, and the Watts Riots.
The first event that had a great impact on making South Central what it is today is the Crack Epidemic.This event first started off as helping people in Nicaragua in the War. This guy Danilo Blandon started the Crack Epidemic and then it became a bad thing afterwards. For a minute the event stopped but when it stopped the C I A started it back up. This event led to broken down families,lost of jobs,robberies,and a large amount of African American people on crack. There were bars put on windows because of the robberies and peoples homes being broken into. Some of the people using the crack coacaine was supporting their families.This event to me is blamed on the C I A because when the Crack Epidemic stopped the C I A wanted money so they stated back with the crack and they are the reason why the families during that time was destroyed. The positive impact that this event had is that the rate of using crack has gone down because it’s not as bad as it was when people knew where to get it and how to get. It changed South Central because of the impact. I dont see to many people out on the street because of crack or weed. Even though crack still exist I never would’ve of thought how bad crack was.
The second event that had a great impact on making South Central what it is today is the Gang History. This event started in the 1940s with various white G A N G S the Spook Hunters and the Ku Klux Klang. These gangs were really famous and they were so tough that two more gangs formed, the Black Panthers and the Brown Berets.
